Greek Chicken Pita Filling

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

Recipe

  • 1 combine the first 3 ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • 2 cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, or until chicken is tender.
  • 3 just before serving, remove chicken amd shred with 2 forks.
  • 4 add shredded chicken back into slow cooker, and stir in yogurt, and oregeno.
  • 5 serve as a filling for pita bread.
