Marinated Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 lbs bone-in skin on chicken thighs
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper in a re-sealable plastic bag.
  • 2 marinate for at least one hour, up to over night in the refrigerator.
  • 3 pre-heat grill to medium-high, spray grates with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 4 grill the chicken skin side down for about 5 minutes, flip chicken, brush on remaining marinade and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 5 flip and cook 5 minutes per side until cook through.
  • 6 let chicken rest 5 minutes before serving.
