Lemon Sauce For Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, zest of
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Recipe

  • 1 in saucepan bring chicken stock to a boil and then add lemon juice, sugar and zest.
  • 2 return mixture to a boil.
  • 3 blend together cornstarch and cold water and stir into the lemon sauce.
  • 4 cook until thickened, stirring frequently and adjust seasoning to taste.
