Lemon Velvet Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken tenders or 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup alfredo sauce

Recipe

  • 1 for the chicken: preheat large saute pan on medium-high 2-3 minutes. place flour, seasoned salt and a dash of garlic powder in zip-top bag. add chicken; seal tightly and shake to coat.
  • 2 place olive oil and butter in pan; swirl to coat. place chicken in pan and cook 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally or until chicken begins to brown.
  • 3 stir in capers. pour lemon juice over chicken. stir in alfredo sauce and reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 6-8 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
