Ginger Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 cloves shallots
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry wine
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled,seeded,and chopped
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in lg pan; saute shallots.
- 2 add wine and chicken broth; warm through and reduce heat to simmer.
- 3 add whipping cream and simmer gently a few more minutes.
- 4 reduce heat again, add salt, pepper, ginger, and lime juice; warm through.
- 5 garnish with chopped tomatoes and serve.
