Happy Family Sesame Chicken

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Recipe

  • 1 combine honey, sesame seeds, soy sauce and garlic. set aside.
  • 2 in a seperate bowl, combine egg whites and cornstarch.
  • 3 add chicken to egg mixture. add salt and pepper to taste. combine thoroughly.
  • 4 to freeze: put honey mixture in a quart sized freezer bag. squeeze out air and seal.
  • 5 put chicken mixture in a gallon sized freezer bag. squeeze out air and seal.
  • 6 place both bags in another gallon sized bag, and label for the freezer.
  • 7 defrost for 24 hours before cooking.
  • 8 on cooking day:.
  • 9 heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
  • 10 add the chicken and cook until browned, turning as needed. (you may need to do this in two batches, depending on the size of your skillet.).
  • 11 pour the honey mixture over the chicken, turning to coat all the pieces.
  • 12 top with the sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and serve.
