Marinated Artichoke Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/3 cup marinated artichoke oil
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 6 whole marinated artichoke hearts
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 chop the artichoke hearts.
- 2 pour the can of crushed tomatoes, artichokes, artichoke oil, chicken stock in a pot on high heat.
- 3 add the garlic and italian seasoning.
- 4 bring to a low boil and then reduce to a simmer on low heat.
- 5 allow the flavors to meld together and the sauce to reduce down for 1 hour.
- 6 add salt and pepper to taste as needed.
