Pan Glazed Chicken With Basil

Ingredients

- 4 (4 ounce) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil
Recipe
- 1 preheat broiler and set rack six inches from heat.
- 2 sprinkle both sides of chicken with salt and pepper.
- 3 spray a broiler pan with cooking spray.
- 4 add chicken; broil 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 5 turn chicken over; broil an additional 6 minutes or until chicken is done through.
- 6 meanwhile, in a small saucepan, stir together vinegar, honey and basil and heat through.
- 7 remove chicken from broiler and place on serving plates, pour sauce over top.
