Japanese Chicken Drumettes

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb chicken drummettes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup red wine
  • sesame seeds, toasted
  • parsley

Recipe

  • 1 rinse off chicken.
  • 2 combine all ingredients, except chicken, and bring to a boil. leave on a low boil for 15 minutes.
  • 3 add in chicken drummettes. let boil for one hour or more until it all thickens and becomes sticky.
  • 4 then let it stand for about ten minutes and then refrigerate.
  • 5 can serve warm or cold(i have had them both ways and either way is good).
  • 6 sprinkle with sesame seeds once arranged on platter and garnish with parsley.
