Orange Chicken

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (found near the vanilla)
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken into pieces.
  • 2 in one dish, put 2 eggs with a dash of salt. in another put flour with one teaspoon garlic powder.
  • 3 coat the chicken in the egg, then the flour.
  • 4 brown the chicken in olive oil in a skillet.
  • 5 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 6 mix the remaining ingredients together to form the sauce.
  • 7 put chicken in a casserole dish. put half the sauce over and cook for 15 minutes.
  • 8 flip and put remaining sauce and cook for another 15 minutes.
  • 9 serve over rice.
