Orange Chicken

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon orange extract (found near the vanilla)
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 cut chicken into pieces.
- 2 in one dish, put 2 eggs with a dash of salt. in another put flour with one teaspoon garlic powder.
- 3 coat the chicken in the egg, then the flour.
- 4 brown the chicken in olive oil in a skillet.
- 5 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 6 mix the remaining ingredients together to form the sauce.
- 7 put chicken in a casserole dish. put half the sauce over and cook for 15 minutes.
- 8 flip and put remaining sauce and cook for another 15 minutes.
- 9 serve over rice.
