Orange Chicken Marrakesh

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 whole chicken, quartered and skinned
  • 1 navel orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8-1/3 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375. trim chicken and place pieces in a baking dish.
  • 2 tuck orange slices around chicken.
  • 3 combine flour, coriander, cinnamon, salt and cayenne. sprinkle over chicken pieces.
  • 4 pour orange juice and chicken broth into dish.
  • 5 bake, basting chicken pieces occasionally, until chicken is tender and done, about 45 minutes.
  • 6 serve with pan juices.
