Lemon Chicken

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 green onions, cut into small pieces

Recipe

  • 1 pre heat oven to 450*.
  • 2 combine corn flakes,ginger, and pepper.
  • 3 set aside.
  • 4 combine egg and soy sauce.
  • 5 place chicken in egg mixture and coat well.
  • 6 coat chicken well with corn flake mixture.
  • 7 place on foil-lined pan.
  • 8 bake for 15 to 20 min.
  • 9 or until no longer pink inside.
  • 10 meanwhile, combine broth,cornstarch,honey,lemon juice,ketchup, and garlic salt in a small saucepan.
  • 11 bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring, until thickened.
  • 12 serve over chicken and garnish with green onions.
