Ingredients
- 2 lbs collard greens
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 1 lb ham or 1 lb bacon
- hot pepper sauce
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Recipe
- 1 soak collard greens in cold water til grit falls to the bottom.
- 2 remove stems from leaves.
- 3 put everything into a stock pot and simmer for 3-4 hours.
