Ingredients

- 1 bunch kale
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 preparation:.
- 2 rinse greens. cut into strips. boil in salted water for 6 minutes. drain in colander. while greens are boiling, cook bacon, remove from skillet. saute onions and garlic in bacon drippings until onion is lightly browned. place greens, onion & garlic, crumbled bacon, pepper flakes and chicken stock in crock pot. cook on high 4 hours or until greens are tender.
