Honey Ginger Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut in 1 inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce (tamari)
  • 2 teaspoons five-spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine chicken with marinade ingredients, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  • 2 heat the oil in a wok. add half the marinated chciken with the marinade and stirfry 1 minute. remove from wok with a slotted spoon and set asidew. add remaining chicken and stirfry 1 minute. return the reserved chicken to the wok with soy sauce and stirfry 2 more minutes. chicken should be just cooked through and slightly carmelized. serve.
