Grape Sauce

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup grape jelly
  • 1 1/2 cups grape juice
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock or 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup splenda granular, sugar substitute

Recipe

  • 1 using a double boiler, melt butter and stir in the flour.
  • 2 once blended, add the chicken stock or broth and allow the mixture to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 add the grape jelly, grape juice, dissolved cornstarch, and splenda.
  • 4 continue to cook and stir until thickened again.
