Oyster Stuffing

Ingredients
- 4 cups stale breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery
- 3 teaspoons butter
- 1 cup drained, chopped oyster
- chicken stock or water
Recipe
- 1 in a large pot melt butter over medium heat.
- 2 add all ingredients except bread and saute for 10 minutes.
- 3 add bread crumbs and begin to toss with a fork, slowly adding liquid of choice until stuffing is just moist but not soggy.
- 4 stuff the bird.
