Parmesan Polenta

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/3 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal or 3/4 cup masa harina
  • 5 ounces parmesan cheese, finely shredded
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, bring chicken broth and milk to a boil.
  • 2 gradually whisk in cornmeal.
  • 3 cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes until creamy, stirring occasionally to make sure it isn't sticking.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in butter and black pepper.
  • 5 gradually stir in the cheese until melted.
  • 6 serve immediately.
