Kitchen Kouture Whole Chicken

Total Time: 27 hrs Preparation Time: 24 hrs Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chicken
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered, stuff into cavity
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1 lemon, holes poked in it, stuff in cavity

Recipe

  • 2 remove neck and giblets.
  • 3 rinse chicken inside and out, pat dry.
  • 4 mix all seasonings together.

  • 8 cook for 3 hours at 250 degrees.
