Lorri's Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Ingredients

  • 12 inches pizza dough
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • 1/3 cup texas pete buffalo chicken wing sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 small onions, chopped and carmelized
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced thin green pepper
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 2 chop two onions and cook them in a skillet until they are brown and carmelized. at the last minute or so of cooking the onions, throw in the chopped garlic. set aside.
  • 3 in a small bowl, stir together chopped chicken, buffalo wing sauce and melted butter.
  • 4 spread sauce with chicken on pizza dough to within 1/2" of edge, put carmelized onion and garlic mixture on next, then green pepper and crumbled blue cheese.
  • 5 in 425 degree oven, if using a prebaked pizza crust bake 10 minutes or until toppings are bubbly. if using a homeade pizza dough this will probably take about 20 minutes or until crust is done.
