Honey Barbecued Chicken Breasts

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup chili sauce, the ketchup type
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat honey
  • 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 6 lemon wedges

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 10 ingredients in a small saucepan over med-high heat; bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer 30 min, stirring occasionally. remove from heat and cool. reserve 1/3 c sauce.
  • 2 combine chicken and remaining sauce in a large ziplok bag; seal and marinate in fridge at least one hour, turning bag occasionally.
  • 3 prepare grill to med-high.
  • 4 remove chicken from bag; discard marinade. grill chicken 5 min on each side or til cooked through, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. serve with lemon wedges.
