Ingredients

- 3 lbs broiler-fryer chickens
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced fine
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Recipe
- 1 heat oven th 375.
- 2 tie and skewer chicken, if desired.
- 3 place the chicken breast side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
