Indonesion Chicken Thighs

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • 12 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 6 garlic cloves, pressed, and chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth, or chunky)

Recipe

  • 1 place the chicken thighs on the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • 2 sprinkle with garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and cayenne pepper.
  • 3 cover, and cook on low for 8 hours or until a meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 4 with a slotted spoon remove chicken pieces from slow cooker.
  • 5 stir peanut butter into remaining juices.
  • 6 if the sauce is thicker than you like, stir in 1/4 to 1/3 cup of water.
  • 7 spoon peanut butter sauce over chicken to serve.
