Montezuma Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 6 cups boneless cooked chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups chunky salsa
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 12 corn tortillas, cut into pieces
  • 24 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 arrange half the chicken in greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • 2 dot with half the salsa, then half the sour cream.
  • 3 top with half the tortilla pieces and half the cheese. repeat layers ending with cheese.
  • 4 cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 5 bake covered at 375 for 40-50 minutes.
  • 6 uncover and bake additional 10 minutes or until bubbly.
