Healthy Southern "fried" Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs frying chicken, cut up
  • water
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 pinch pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine breadcrumbs and spices in paper bag.
  • 2 brush chicken with water.
  • 3 place pieces of chicken in paper bag (a few at a time); shake to coat.
  • 4 place on non-stick cookie sheet.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until tender.
