Pineapple Chicken Legs

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 chicken legs with thigh
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, unsweetened with juice
  • 1/4 cup raisins or 1/4 cup currants
  • 1/3 cup prepared orange juice, unsweetened
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 remove skin from chicken.
  • 2 pat dry with paper towel.
  • 3 brush with cooking oil.
  • 4 brown under broiler.
  • 5 place in small roaster.
  • 6 stir remaining 7 ingredients together in bowl.
  • 7 pour over chicken, cover.
  • 8 cook in 350 degree oven for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours until tender.
